...in which the screen is blurring at the edges

I don't think I've ever been this tired whilst writing a blog.

But thats what happens when you dont sleep well, rise and shine at half 5 and then go to work. Luckily I only did a 5 hour shift today, otherwise it's quite possible I'd have fallen asleep in our stock room, and would still be there now with only Henry Hoover for company.

But instead I got home and went out for lunchies which was nice. I popped into Old!Work after being jumped on by Alyssa in Boots and being informed that "everyone" was working. So I visited and was hailed by hugs and high fives and invitations to various fun events, some involving firework massacres, others inolving drinking and dancing. I miss them.

And then I came home to sleep, but not before I had another driving errand to do.

In the 5 or so hours I set aside for sleep I only fit in on hour or so of kip. Rubbish. My eyeballs hurt so bad and they threaten to get worse at the thought of doing it all again tomorrow.

The only good thing about tomorrow is that its NYE and an outing has been planned which involves my fabulous best mates and my boyfriend who has been so riddled with manflu that I haven't seen him for ages. And then 2008 will disappear.

This time last year I was desperately hoping that 2008 would be better than 2007, but such was the way of things that I knew a little bit that the year would be off to a terrible start. But this year I have a genuinely good feeling.

Plus its 12 days til my birthday :)

..in which I kick myself

Intending to delete my old photoblog and start again, I cleverly managed to delete my BLOGblog. Even though it was brand new (2 entries) the word "bugger" was just screamed at my laptop screen.

Damn.

But the old photoblog is gone, and a new one will appear in it's place shortly.

Today has been really productive, and considering I've only been awake for a couple of hours I think that's incredible. I've installed my digital camera software (finally) and uploaded my month old graduation pictures to Facebook.

I tidied up the kitchen and then made a start on tidying my desk which hasn't gone so well. But that's only because I broke off from it to take a walk to the shops where I bought Lovely New Shampoo and colouring pencils. True story.

I've also played bass guitar this morning, something which, sadly I don't do often enough. It felt good. I felt like a rawk star.

Yep, so the next thing to do is get myself a cup of tea and then begin le photoblogging. And then I may work on my novel. Or waste an hour or two on Facebook. Lets see how this productiveness pans out....
